It was great to see so many Gateway business and property owners, community partners, and City leaders come together for our Annual Event on July 15 at CHRYSPAC. Guests enjoyed lunch catered by fellow Gateway business Al Bazzar while connecting with others from throughout the district.

The afternoon included updates on Gateway projects and initiatives, along with information on resources available to support local businesses and property owners.

We were also happy to recognize a major milestone for our host, CHRYSPAC, as the company celebrates 25 years in business. Congratulations again to President & CEO Bill Beckett and the entire CHRYSPAC team! A special thanks to Warren Scurlock, Linda Hapka, and Mekio Terwelp for opening up their space to us and for everything they did to help make the event a success.

Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Department of City Development Commissioner Lafayette Crump, and Alderman Scott Spiker joined us as well. We appreciate their continued support of the businesses, property owners, and ongoing efforts throughout the district.

With a great turnout, this year’s Annual Event was a valuable opportunity to bring our Gateway businesses, property owners, and partners together, share what we’re working on, and continue building connections throughout the district.
